50/125 OM2 Multimode Fibre Optic Cables

The fibre is a graded refractive index multimode fibre suitable for transmission speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It has a 50 micron core and a 125 micron cladding diameter designed for use at 850 and/or 1300nm wavlengths. Two 2.8mm tightly buffered fibres with a LSZH fire retardant, UV stabilised jacket to form a multipurpose zipcord. The Standard Jacket Colour is Orange but other colours are available.

At 850nm: <=2.7dB/km
At 1300nm: <=0.8dB/km

Bandwidth
At 850nm: >=600MHz.km
At 1300nm: >=1200MHz.km
